AIRPORT FASHION

If you are one of the lucky ones, you are probably traveling this holiday season. You get to spend your winter days in relaxation and ease, without a care in the world. Your bags are packed with a week’s worth (or maybe a month’s worth) of outfits. This vacation has probably been planned for weeks if not months out. And now, it is the night before. Instead of getting sleep, you are obsessively are searching the web because you forgot to plan one thing: your airport outfit.

Listen, airport fashion is a THING. Celebrities and models have declared the airport as another extension of the fashion runway by incorporating style and high flying. This is the LIT Boutique approved guide you should read before you bust out your college sweatshirt and your old tennis shoes. Soon, you’re going to want to be a frequent flyer just to impress onlookers with your new sense of airport fashion.

Slip-Ons

This style of shoe is perfect for any flyer. No one wants to be dragging their feet in knee high boots (your legs are going to sweat). And you are definitely not going through check-in with heels on. Yes, we said the airport is another runway, but not literally. Keep the heels away! Slip-ons are the must have shoe while traveling. They are easy for on and off access.

Basics + Comfort

This will sound super familiar to our minimalism guide. The goal is to not trade style for comfort. Meaning, you want to go back to fundamentals and basics for an effortless and still chic look. Trade in those 100% cotton skinny jeans for a looser denim with a stretchier blend. If traveling in jeans scares you, then opt for a pair of staple black leggings. Do not forget the basic white tee. It works for any airport vibe, whether you are the #BossBabe or the #VacayBabe.

Go relax!! Have fun! And make sure to snap some pics and tag it with #LITBabe so we can feature you on our Instagram.
