STAYING SOCIAL AND STYLISH THIS FALL
These days, thinking about a “night out” has a new meaning — but if you think about it, it’s a chance to get creative and plan out-of-the-ordinary events with the ones you love most.
For example, hosting a small group of friends is a great way to have an intimate and special night, with appropriate social distancing. If you are like us and love to dress up for any occasion, you can still flaunt your trendiest looks, even at smaller gatherings, and even in your own living room.
A night out could also mean a cute date planned for you and your significant other. Even though we may not be able to hit up our favorite bars and restaurants on a daily basis, date nights can still be fun and adventurous. And I think we can all appreciate these special moments even more than we did before.
Here are some ideas for memorable social events you can spearhead this fall, and of course, outfit inspo to ensure you’re the hostest with the mostest.
A NIGHT HOSTING FRIENDS
Making plans with your bubble is the perfect opportunity to socialize safely and spend quality time with the people you love. Even if you are hosting at home, does not mean you can’t make it special! Unleash your inner bartender and supply food and drinks for your guests. So, what to wear?! Even if you are staying in with friends, you can still act as if you are going for a night out on the town and dress in a chic outfit. A blouse with high rise pants can be a simple but trendy look. Get creative and accessorize with gold jewelry and a matching bag. These little get-togethers are really important for giving you fun highlights of your week and making sure you have much-needed social time. And dressing up for them can bring some added excitement, while giving you an excuse to switch up your wardrobe.
DATE NIGHT
Instead of going out to a classy restaurant and ordering food and drinks, why not get creative with your date ideas?! Maybe try setting up a picnic for your significant other on the beach or in a local park. This is a great way to mix things up and have an intimate and memorable experience together. Another date idea that’s high on our list for fall is setting up a backyard movie. This is a cute idea that your SO will love! Set up a projector towards the side of the house, lay down a blanket with some pillows and there you go! Add some wine and maybe a cheese board for your mid movie snack. Anyone can do this for quality time with each other.
Since date nights may have changed scenery for a while, dressing up is still something nice that you and your significant other can do. This will make it feel like a real date night and yes, give you a chance to show off that new outfit you’ve been dying to wear. To keep warm while staying cute, try a wide leg pant paired with your favorite crop top or blouse. The result? A unique look that will be comfortable and memorable for your perfect date night.
No matter where you end up, just remember, if you look good you feel good! We are leaving it up to you to show up in style to your next outing. Whether you are heading out for a hot date or staying home with some friends, this is a time for you to get creative and be spontaneous.
