We all have that favorite makeover montage scene that makes us secretly wish we had Miranda Priestly as a boss. Well, maybe until reality hits and we have to do some of those back-breaking assignments… Even still, sometimes you might long for the glamour of an urban, New York workplace where showing off your style is a sporting event. Certain offices are a little too stuffy with rules and regulations on what you can and cannot wear. Other workplaces just don’t generate enough creativity to promote a more vibrant look.

Pair it with a more structured blazer or with a cozy knit (over or underneath). You can also play with texture and material when you are shopping for your stylish work closet.
